| The mission of the Durham Tennis Mentoring Program (DTMP) is to expose African American youth from low-income families in Durham, North Carolina to the sport of tennis. Additionally, the youth will be taught the importance of good personal health and hygiene, and of developing and reaching positive individual and academic goals.
